Here are some images of my latest project, the Rotary Charity House in Levin, NZ. It is a transportable 103 square metre house that has been built with mostly donated products from local businesses and their suppliers, and built by local trades people donating their time for free. The house has had one viewing so far, with another one due Saturday 31st March. The auction for its sale happening Thursday 5th April. Proceeds from the sale (minus expenses for products Levin Rotary had to purchase) will go to a local charity Te Hinaki Trust which provides our local school children with chrome books (like a laptop computer) for their school work.
I have selected the colour scheme and done minimum staging to give people an idea of what the house looks like with furniture and furnishings in it. The colours used for this house add a certain softness and warmth (as in homeliness), and will work well with practically any other colour.
We have had in the vicinity of 80 people through the house to date, and have received some amazing comments regarding the colours.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
